| I am a Real Estate Sales Associate at Friedberg Properties in Rivervale, New Jersey. I graduated high school from Pascack Valley High School in Hillsdale, New Jersey. My parents now live in Demarest, New Jersey. I have spent a large part of my life in Bergen County, New Jersey. U. S. NAVY TWENTY YEAR ACTIVE DUTY VETERAN
I retired from the U. S. Navy after 20 years of active service. My job in the Navy was in the Personnel Office at many different stations in the U. S. and overseas. The first duty station was alongside the Navy's Blue Angels at Training Squadron 86 at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL. After two years there I transferred to Holy Loch, Scotland for two years onboard the USS Holland AS-32, a submarine repair ship. I then transferred to the U. S. Oceanographic Survey Base at Royal Air Force Base, Brawdy, Wales for a four year tour. My next assignment was at the Naval Education and Training Center, Newport, RI for another four years. From there I was transferred back overseas to the USS Orion AS-18 homeported in La Maddalena, Sardinia, Italy for a three year tour. At the end of this tour I sailed back with the Orion to Norfolk, VA for the decommissioning of the ship. My final duty station was in Recruiting at the Military Entrance Processing Station in Albany, NY.
The awards I received: Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS). 2 Navy Achievement Medals, 5 Good Conduct Medals, Navional Defense Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service w/silver star. Battle "E" (2). Meritorious Unit Commendation w/bronze star, Sea Service Deployment and Pistol and Rifle awards. |
